I finally bought the Sparkle album (having long ago “acquired” all the tracks) and can’t bring myself to remove the thread to get the CD out. Forgot to order Mono’s new epic at the same time. AVA’s debut Reasons to Leave is kickass, and I thought I’d lost my taste for post-hardcore; kinda regret losing track of them now. Randomly picked up Sigur Rós Takk… and Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust at HMV. Also scored Octavarium and a bootleg from 1993 called Dream Out Loud for 11 bucks each at Gramophone. Nearly a quarter of my meagre four hundred a month there. I have no idea why I’m suddenly buying non-local CDs, and if I don’t decide to stop soon I’ll be pretty broke.
Next: need new shoes, my chucks are way torn up, sweet Camper sneakers being completely beyond my means :( :( :( And must find that white Graniph shirt with a whole bunch of keyboards that I should’ve grabbed two weeks ago, blah.
