We hadn’t actually listened to PX3 properly since we recorded it last year and we’re actually thinking it’s pretty fucking good, as a kind of last-minute bid to join the pantheon of ‘Grand Towering Music’, as a sort of scruffy, Northern footnote.
In fact, we seem to remember recording the guitars to this by plugging them into all the amps in the studio at once through different delay pedals and a Zoom 505 (remember those?) in a kind of “Oh well, fuck it, stick to what you know” manner, and it actually paid off.
