New Google Favicon Still Sucks. Seriously, which part of the lowercase “g” says anything about the efficient, no-nonsense search engine and the fun, creative side of the brand? I liked the primary colours logotype but after I heard about the working culture in the Googleplex (and who hasn’t?) I’ve felt even more strongly that it’s pretty much a perfect logo, and the building block G represented that brand in so few pixels so well.
