Newcomers Lunar Node seem intent on feeding our recent fascination with post-rock in Singapore. Mono was here not long ago to remind us that post-rock doesn’t have to have any rock in it — it can be dull as fuck and we’ll just throw around words like “subtle” and “ambient”, ATC debuted a kickass album that borders on prog, and now these guys are bringing something of their own which so far evokes early Explosions in the Sky with more energy and half the playtime (not a bad thing). CORRECTION: apparently Mono was “very loud” at the Esplanade.
