Lowercase Noises is Andy Othling’s one man ambient/post-rock band, whom I discovered while watching guitar effects videos on YouTube. His latest album was written for his daughter, Vivian, born just an hour ago.
Vivian (the album) is filled with alternating brooding and uplifting guitar lines, tempered yet hopeful. And of course his signature reversed delay and reverb sounds. It’s a name-your-own-price download over here, so no reason not to check it out.
